IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have installed Java 8 Update 20 or later, this update has has blocked access to unsigned applets, making the oekaki boards and other unsigned Java applets inoperable. If you use Java 8 Update 20 or later and if you want to draw on this oekaki, please do the following:

1. Go to Control Panel, select Java and make sure Java content is enabled in your browser.

Animated versions of ShiPainter, ShiPainter Pro and OekakiBBS are known to work correctly under these new restrictions. Normal, Paletted and Animated PaintBBS and ChibiPaint do not work at all at this time. I'm still investigating into this issue and I'll post a update as time warrants.

In the meantime, if you wish to use the oekaki without any of these new restrictions, there are older versions of Java (Java 8 Update 11 and below) that will work with this oekaki board without problems.

 I had a nightmare last night. Something like this was in it. It was naked and had the body of a woman. But it's face and head... well, in case you don't get it, I made up a little caption (btw the setting was in a foggy greenhouse... is that even possible):

You can't enter the four glass walls of the Mayson Greenhouse during twilight nor dusk. If ever you do, you witness the early morning dew seem to rise from the leaves of the plants and condense into the air. It is then that you cannot see your own hands in front of your face, and begin to wander around aimlessly. Most people dissapear into the greenhouses during the fog, but one man emerged after three days, claming to have been in there the entire time; nobody saw him in the span of three days, not once. But he swore on it and told all those who would listen a story of a beast that attacked him in the fog. It was a dull silver colour and had the alluring shape of a young, fit woman. He first approached the demonic figure as it sat on nothing, faced back to him, mistaking it as a human female.
Slowly he approached it, and in an instant the head swung around. The man stopped dead in his tracks as he faced 2 pale eyes with lime-green bruises that looked like stains. The creature had also what looked like a single, bulging antenae from its crown. As it thinned toward the end, a single, bloodshot eyeball could be seen watching the man, resting just to the side of one long, deep green horn that stuck down ward on the side of the beast's head - a matching one lay on the opposite side. The grey creature's mouth opened and from between its ivory-lime fangs that stretched past the flat chin emerged a long, peach-coloured tongue. It stretched nearly four feet to the man and tasted him; not his face, nor his neck, but lashed out and stuck his left cornea.
Screaming in agony, he ran, but never went into much more greater detail than that.
Many times, people would want to ask the man what the creature did after he ran and how he escaped the fog. But then they, after listening in great detail to this crazy man's story, would raise their head ever so slightly. Then their eyes would dart away from his left pupil, which was half covered by a large green stain that rested in the top-right corner of his eye.
And the man would smirk a green smile.

 I have very disturbing dreams as well, but they're not exactly nightmares. I hope you don't have to have a nightmare like this again... Nice picture

very cool pic!

I've been having a lot of wierd nightmares lately, too. According to my source, it's supposed to be a good thing, because it means good changes are underway in your daily life .

:) .... and, no, it wasn't a <i> reliable </i> source .

hhhmmmm - opened an apple to practise drawing using a back hand technique ( which explains all the wierd doodling + stream of conscious writing you'll see if you watch the animation) but ended up drawing another cartoon girl ! Big surprise there, I'll bet!


Nice to see so much new blood here! ( although the old blood better not have left, or i'll send revenge monkeys to throw their leavings on yoru house.

Edited to boast about my diligence, as timer shows almost three hours. I swear, all that time was spent working on the 15 minute doodle! I don't go watch tv for 2 hours and then go to to corner shop for yoghurt! I swear! *innocent*
