IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have installed Java 8 Update 20 or later, this update has has blocked access to unsigned applets, making the oekaki boards and other unsigned Java applets inoperable. If you use Java 8 Update 20 or later and if you want to draw on this oekaki, please do the following:

Animated versions of ShiPainter, ShiPainter Pro and OekakiBBS are known to work correctly under these new restrictions. Normal, Paletted and Animated PaintBBS and ChibiPaint do not work at all at this time. I'm still investigating into this issue and I'll post a update as time warrants.

In the meantime, if you wish to use the oekaki without any of these new restrictions, there are older versions of Java (Java 8 Update 11 and below) that will work with this oekaki board without problems.

cute image - you should post more often!

That's lovely + charming, the way she's covering her ears. It's really easy to read.

The reason this picture appeals to me so much is that the pose reminds me a lot of the poses we used to get our stuffed animals to assume when we were little ( this probably isn't very useful feedback for you , lol)

Was there a lot of people picking on each other at this site last time you were here? If that's the reason you left, you should come back <3. The board has a really nice vibe at the moment, and everybody's very courteous and friendly . I, for one, would love to see more of your work :).

 yup, it's spyro. I love the firt game, I still have it somewhere, just need to find it.
anywho, I don't like any of the new games, for a few reasons
-characters: okay, so I see a lot of spyroxcinder pics on DA, first off, in the original games, spyro loves someone else, and second (to my understanding) Spyro and cynder are siblings. and sparks, well, he just got annoying
- anatomy: how in the freaking world does cinder hold her head up with that twig thin neck?! I know some video games aren't supposed to look realastic,but, seriously! and how do they fly with those wings. There's no wing membrane going from the last finger to their body.
- other stuff: The older games were more challenging, because to get to the next level, you had to complete something, not just continue. and there were kind of minigames, oh I love those, especially the flight levels in the first one.
What I though was really genius, was the levels in the levels.
anyone else?

"Go ahead," Arethidia urged. I hesitated.
"Can they see me?"
"No. Nor will they feel your embrace." The look of anticipation on her face was more than enough motivation.
Very slowly, I reached my hand up and extended a finger toward the small planet. A meteor large enough to destroy it bounced off my wrist and headed in the opposite direction.
As my index finger neared, I felt a tiny pulse in the thin ozone.
"It's a little heartbeat," I whispered.
"Yes," Arethidia said. "It is the conjoined life energy of the millions of trillions of living animals and plants that gives the planet its heartbeat. But as its pulse falters, so do those inside of it." Arethidia's face became grim and as I reached further out to my planet, the brilliant blues of the oceans and greens of the lands illuminated my hand and forearm.
Then my finger rested gently on what was South America.
I felt the cold of the poles and the heat of the equator all in sudden burst. I pulled my hand away in utter disbelief and ecstacy and the natural pale, cold skin I was born with returned. Shivering, I looked up to the planet and realized I could still feel its pulse inside of me, seperate from my normal pulse, beating with much more joy than it had previously. Arethidia rested her hand on my shoulder.
"This mass is truly thankful for your generous donation."
I stared. "Donation? Of what?"
Her eyes sparkled like the distant stars with her answer. "Recognition and Life."

 I'm currently writing a book, titled "Realm" I REALLY want this to be published, so this would make cover el perfecto! *sucks at spanish*
Anyway, thanks! It took my foever to make a functional human hand that didn't look like a spider. Thank you to: layers, circles, and lines for helping me make a hand.
