IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have installed Java 8 Update 20 or later, this update has has blocked access to unsigned applets, making the oekaki boards and other unsigned Java applets inoperable. If you use Java 8 Update 20 or later and if you want to draw on this oekaki, please do the following:

1. Go to Control Panel, select Java and make sure Java content is enabled in your browser.
2. Go to Security and add the URL link of this site in the address bar to your Exception List.

Animated versions of ShiPainter, ShiPainter Pro and OekakiBBS are known to work correctly under these new restrictions. Normal, Paletted and Animated PaintBBS and ChibiPaint do not work at all at this time. I'm still investigating into this issue and I'll post a update as time warrants.

In the meantime, if you wish to use the oekaki without any of these new restrictions, there are older versions of Java (Java 8 Update 11 and below) that will work with this oekaki board without problems.

 I want you to take a big of time to read this post regarding the state of this oekaki.

In the past six months, Insomnia Oekaki has pretty much recovered from the downtime in regards to the upgrade from last August.

My recent journal entry explains it all. Because no one is interested in applying for oekaki affiliation, I'm planning on taking the affiliation page down soon.

Secondly, I want to hear your thoughts regarding the improvement of Insomnia Oekaki:

1. Which areas of the oekaki would you like to see improved further?
2. What are the possible suggestions that you would like to make on this oekaki?

 firstly, I have been wanting you apply for that. it's just I don't have an oekaki board to apply with. (I'm waitng for my three month penalty to end so I can try and re-apply over at oekaki art, hehehe)

improvment- hm, actually, this oekaki is great. my suggestions though..

I love this place but we should have some contests. or a weekly theme, I love those (unless there is one and I didn't notice XD)

 Well...contests are something that we're gonna think about. It's about time that someone gave feedback. ^_^

Sadly, contests aren't my interests as they used to be anymore. :(

Good suggestion though.

I've seen a lot of deviants who are oekakiers and I'm terribly disheartened to see no one apply for affiliation due to lack of interest. I'll try to search for new oekaki drawings on dA to see what they think.

And if you don't really enjoy contests, maybe one of your reliable applicants could hold them for you?
I mean, gichi's been on since, like, ever! Same with Hendlox!

That would be fair enough.

However, what I'm looking forward is for real improvements to the oekaki itself as well.

Like for example, this oekaki is missing a Preview button used to type in comments and send IO users OP-mail. Since this oekaki is based on Wax Poteto, there is no way to preview comments. I need to ask Wac about that, ya know.

this is a really charming image! :D Is the character named Brown, or was it just really late so you couldn't be bothered colouring the carriage? Anyhow, great draw!

 Nomee: thank you very much! n_n and no, her name isn't brown, but yeah, I didn't have enough time (nor I do now x_x) to paint this but I had already chosen the carriage's colour...x3!
