IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have installed Java 8 Update 20 or later, this update has has blocked access to unsigned applets, making the oekaki boards and other unsigned Java applets inoperable. If you use Java 8 Update 20 or later and if you want to draw on this oekaki, please do the following:

1. Go to Control Panel, select Java and make sure Java content is enabled in your browser.
2. Go to Security and add the URL link of this site in the address bar to your Exception List.

Animated versions of ShiPainter, ShiPainter Pro and OekakiBBS are known to work correctly under these new restrictions. Normal, Paletted and Animated PaintBBS and ChibiPaint do not work at all at this time. I'm still investigating into this issue and I'll post a update as time warrants.

In the meantime, if you wish to use the oekaki without any of these new restrictions, there are older versions of Java (Java 8 Update 11 and below) that will work with this oekaki board without problems.

 I saw this when I blinked last night... or was it this morning? ANYWAY I really like the way these pillars of stone looked, so I desided I would try to picture or them here... though the scenery doesn't look quite right. I was mostly thinking about the moon when I tried to remember it. I only saw it in the blink of an eye, after all...

My sister suggested the name. It reminded her of the pillars of creation(search it if you don't know, it's really stunning)

 This is depicting one of my sister's characters being confonted by my sister's friend's character. The red and yellow one is EV and the black one is Yoshi. The background is more of a metaphor, representing EV's mind being pushed to the brink of destruction. Maybe she'll go over the edge.

I really like how this came out. The expressions on thier faces are just right and the background really turned out good. I absolutely love how Yoshi's fur turned out. Unfortuanately, I had alot of difficulty using the same tactic on EV's red fur. And the shadows... well I just gave up on them. I'll probably go back and edit that.

Edit: I added shadows and fixed a little hole...

Yeah, yeah, I totally get the whole "Black fur" thing. It's a great texture but, hey, red is a little harder to work with, and all.

I love the story this tells, too! Sad but equally life-like! Great work.. :)

 I really like how this came out. I thought I should do something on Oekaki and this idea popped into my head. So here is Puchi sailing. Do you like her fur? I tried something new, but I'm not sure if I like it or not...

 This took sooo much longer than it needed to. Mostly because I did it on my mom's laptop.

I haven't been here for a while, have I?
Well this is Puchi again, this time on a less cheerful note.

I really like how this came out except for the lightning. :/ I really wanted lightning in the picture, but I think I need to practice with it. I also don't like how much Puchi's back curves in and I wish I could've made it look mor like her fur was blowing in the wind. I didn't think about that when I drew her.

Puchi again. It seems that she's successfully scaled the mountain but has been cought up in a cave.

I think this came out fine, not exactly like I pictured it, but things rarely do. I noticed that I forgot a few details but I'll get them later.

 I was just blinking and this flashed into my head quite awhile ago. I was really eager to work on it, but didn't really get the chance. I am so happy with how it came out. So this is a younger Puchi, scaling a mountain, which is really difficult becaus, as you can see, her feet are so large. I had a lot of fun with this and might go back to it later.
