IMPORTANT NOTICE: If you have installed Java 8 Update 20 or later, this update has has blocked access to unsigned applets, making the oekaki boards and other unsigned Java applets inoperable. If you use Java 8 Update 20 or later and if you want to draw on this oekaki, please do the following:

1. Go to Control Panel, select Java and make sure Java content is enabled in your browser.
2. Go to Security and add the URL link of this site in the address bar to your Exception List.

Animated versions of ShiPainter, ShiPainter Pro and OekakiBBS are known to work correctly under these new restrictions. Normal, Paletted and Animated PaintBBS and ChibiPaint do not work at all at this time. I'm still investigating into this issue and I'll post a update as time warrants.

In the meantime, if you wish to use the oekaki without any of these new restrictions, there are older versions of Java (Java 8 Update 11 and below) that will work with this oekaki board without problems.

 Per nicole1725's request, I have disabled JPEG compression. JPEG is still used for displaying the size of the drawing in a thumbnail format.

This probably affects only drawing on this oekaki board. I will need to do some testing of OekakiBBS applets to see if they will actually save in JPEG format.

 I prefer PNG. I only did a test upload to make sure that JPEG uploads still worked. :)

 After 12 days of working and fixing all of the bugs on this oekaki, it's now all clear for anyone to use this site again.

All of the bugs that caused the oekaki to not work correct have been fixed.

 Okay, this oekaki is back online after nearly a couple of days of outage.

However, after this oekaki was upgraded from Wax Poteto 5.8.0 to 5.8.5, this site has encountered numerous bugs that will need to be fixed:

1. "Resource id #n" errors and a bunch of values associated with it are being shown in the frontpage (index.php), member listing (memberlist.php) and site statistics (stats.php) and diagnostics (testinfo.php) and elsewhere. "Array" variable is being displayed next to the artist's name in the title of the oekaki drawing as well as the reply to comments made. Also, when clicking on user's profile, duplicate numbers are being shown next to the stats in the user's latest pictures.

2. When sorting by age in the member listing (memberlist.php), view a user's profile or attempt to add a user, a "Fatal error: Call to undefined function ymd()" error occours. Also, in the first page of the memberlist, a duplicate (non-clickable) e-mail address is visible.

3. Upon replying to a comment, the second reply doesn't show. Also, the footer on the bottom of the comment field is malformed.

4. Text in the chatbox (chat.php) is only showing a ":" instead of the user's name and comment. Footer in the chatbox is malformed.

5. When clicking on comments, the error claims that the "comments in the database" is empty when there are more than one comment made on this site.

6. When a user has finished a oekaki drawing and when clicking on the animation button (View Animation), an error message, "No animation" popups up and the user has to close the window.

If you find anymore coding bugs, please let me know and I'll investigate it.

 Update: All of the bugs on this oekaki has been fixed. However, this oekaki is not ready to be used again, just yet.

I will need to do some more tests on this oekaki to make sure that it is fully working properly. :)

If not, I will have to get back to Wac and report anymore bugs that occurred since the site upgrade.

If there are no more bugs on this oekaki, I will give the all clear signal to let users register and draw at my oekaki again!

 The bugs in the oekaki are all gone until the next update! :)

As a result, comments have been locked.

 Here's the final version of this drawing that I worked on over the last several weeks.

I'm glad that this drawing is all done as I won't work on it anymore. It's just too much work and drag to go back and fix anymore errors in this drawing, ya know.

I probably won't do anymore drawings until this Fall.

As a fellow Powerpuff fan, I HAVE to love this. You really put a gross amount of work into this (by "gross", I mean "extreme", I speak weird English) and that is really admirable. :D

 Thank you so much! I started working on this drawing in early May and did finish it for weeks.

It was a real drag to progress and finish this drawing as soon as possible.

I won't be able to get back to work on anymore drawings until at least this Fall. :)

 Okay, here's my latest drawing of Nelia Tenlion for nursenikki on dA. Her birthday is this Wednesday and I took the opportunity to get this drawing done as soon as possible.

The drawing was done at barachan's oekaki and it has been a real drag to do this drawing with a PS/2 mouse. Even if the drawing did submit, the animation failed to submit, because it exceeded the 488 KB limit.

The next time I take so much time to do another drawing at her oekaki, it will be without any animation at all.

I plan on submitting this drawing Tuesday night on my dA account.

 I'm finally done doing this ID!

I've decided to do my character Mechapuff petrified in white stone.

There are a lot of cracks all over her body with parts of her leg and arms that are about to fall off.

I will explain more when I upload this dA ID onto my dA account. :)

 I'll be working on the colouring of my dA ID that I will be doing the first thing tomorrow. I expect this to be finished by this weekend! :)

Edit: The shading and lineart colouring is finished. I just need to make last minute changes to this drawing before I consider this final.

 Okay.

This is it! The finalised version of my Mechapuff character in a lingerie outfit. She's holding a heart-shaped box full of chocolate.

Plus, on the left side of her is a stuffed heart-shaped black-eyed teddy bear! I'll write more regarding the details in this drawing when I submit this to my dA account shortly! :)

I have to say you really improved at drawing over the years. The only thing I don't like about this drawing is all of the realistic lines in her torso, it contrasts way too much since the rest of the picture is a simple powerpuff, it makes her look really old. (Unless she's supposed to be old)
