This drawing to promote the upcoming Mechapuff Makeover contest is not yet finished and I marked the drawing as adult, because of this.

I will eventually get to the base colouring of this drawing before I stop for a while. I'm planning on getting back on my dA account once the base colouring is done as I only have a few hours left of free time.

Alright. I'll have to stop where I am on this unfinished drawing. I'm going to return to dA later today at noon.

I'll try to finish up this drawing next week during the 2009 World Series.

Alrighty, here's my new deviantID for 2010 featurs my Gaia avatar, Pink Rainbow. This is my first deviantID that I've done in almost three years and it took over four days to draw her from the ground up.

I have made some cosmetic changes to my Pink Rainbow character, on the left side of her face, I added a dark reddish pink star with rainbow coloured streaks below it. The pink star on the left side of her cheek glows up quite nicely.

I added a pink heart on her necklace, plus the beads on her hands are colourful. Her belt now has a pinkish heart.

I also made a new attempt at doing a new solid shading technique on her pink hair and the clothing that she's wearing. The simplified black background has five glowy blue, green, yellow, orange and pink red lines as well as the ppgrainbow vertical logo.

Comments on this finished drawing is appreciated. A new character called Kermessa will be revealed when I reach 200,000 pageviews on my deviantART account. Kermessa will be the first (busty) catgirl character that I'm about to create.

Details on what Kermessa will look like once the drawing of her is completed.

For the time being, I only have less than two days of free time left and there might not be enough time to do another drawing.

In that case, I may eventually screw the remaining two days off and do something else.

Update: I had to do a minor fix on the black lineart surrounding the Pink Rainbow character as the coloured rainbow lines were going over it.

Here's what I did so far. I fixed the right side of her hair, extended the length of her legs to a point where her feet are showing and added bunny ears.

I will get to work on shading this drawing after I eat dinner and I'm hoping that this drawing will be finished very soon.

Update:: I finished the shading and colouring of some of the lines in this drawing. Part two will involve a simple black background with rainbow coloured lines.

Once the background is complete, I will add the ppgrainbow logo, merge the images into one and finalise the dA ID.

Even though this drawing took nearly three days to complete (including the lineart and base colours), this drawing is still not done.

Infact, since there wasn't any room to add the bunny ears and finish the bottom part of her legs, I will have to resize this drawing to 400 x 999 and finish it from there.

I will eventually try to do a different shading style, because my shading capabilities still aren't too great.

Edit: You can view the animation on this drawing to see how Pink Rainbow was done. The drawing consists of 50,558 steps and unfortunately, her anatomy is off.

Meet Mechapuff R2 (Mp R2)!

Who is she you may ask? Mp R2, the second generation Mechapuff character. She's also the younger sister of the original character, believed to be born in late 1977. Mechapuff was established on the start of the Unix Epoch (1 January 1970). The character statistics, including her exact age have not be revealed at this time, but she is believed to be taller than Mechapuff.

Mp R2 has reddish hair with with orange and yellow streaks on the bottom of her bangs and the back of her hair. The outfit design is different from the original Mechapuff character and the outfit consists of dark blueish gray, bright yellow, orange and apple red.

Mp R2 has three wires (bright yellow, orange and apple red) on her fingers and toes (if drawn as a humanoid) compared to only two red ones on the Mechapuff character. The wires are attached to her hips, arms and her legs. Both Mechapuff and Mp R2 has holes in their outfit.

The colour of her belt is white instead of gray. The handles on her belt attach to her boots. Without the white handles, her belt falls off.

Regarding the colour of her eyes, the colour of her irises are pink (right) and yellow (left). Her pupils are red (right) and orange). Mechapuff, on the other hand has a bright blue iris with a darker blue pupil. The mechanical welding is to the left side of her face instead of the right and the bolts are now visible. The birthmark scars are now to the bottom left side of her left next to her pink eye and consist of dark gold, orange and red. The scars on Mp R2 even light up while the scars found on the original Mechapuff character do not.

Lastly, the sheild on her neck (if drawn as a humanoid) are dark grayish blue with the roman numeral 2 printing on it.

Unlike Mechapuff, Mp R2's codename alias is "Fireball", because of her reddish-orangy-yellow hair and the wires on her body.

Mechapuff R2 is expected to be superseded by Mechapuff R3 sometime in Spring 2010 with the Aurora codename!

Anyways, on a side note, it's getting late and I need to go to bed.

I have about 7 1/2 to 8 days left of free time away from dA and it's possible that I will do one more drawing and that will be my new deviantART ID and my first one in nearly three years.

You know, I'm not a big fan of the powerpuff style, but this is still lovely work you have here. I can see you've worked really hard on this and it was certainly worth it. I can picture this as a graphic in a DS game--I'm very fond of smooth, pixeled works like this. Great job!

Thanks so much for the comment. I've been thinking about getting back to drawing for a while and by doing so without the need to multitask and wonder off.

The reason why this picture has a white background in a thumbnail is because this drawing has a transparent background.

This is the completed version of my Mechapuff R2 character. This is the first drawing done on Shi-Painter over at Ultema's oekaki board in the Miscellaneous Art section: http://ultema.net/doekaki/picture.cgi?board=misc

The drawing took almost five days to complete and it consists of 94,895 steps. Most of the steps consist the use of the bezier tool and the pencil to do the lineart and colouring from scratch. The colouring and shading on the hair was a total pain in the neck, but in the end I managed to get the drawing done as soon as possible.

However, the picture was considered "lost", because I ran into a Invalid Session error. I might have logged in that oekaki on Firefox and the internet connection was acting up off and on.

I'll do some finishing touches on this oekaki drawing and do a transparent background before I save the drawing and upload it to my deviantART account in a couple of weeks.

The thumbnail version of this gives the picture no justice. The colors are beautiful, especially in th har. I really like her outfit as well.

Lineart version of Mechapuff R2 drawn at Ultema's oekaki board in the Miscellanous Art section.

The colours of this character is expected to be much different than the original Mechapuff character.

This is the first drawing that I did to be done on Shi-Painter. The lineart took more than 2 1/2 days to complete. I will work on the colouring when I get out of the shower. I'm hoping to get this drawing finished by this weekend.

It's quite possible that I can kill the final week doing other things before returning to dA.

I'm pretty glad that I didn't even wonder off and multitask this time around.

Comments on this drawing are disabled, because it's a work in progress piece.

Update: The base colours of this Mechapuff drawing is complete. I'll will eventually want to keep the backup copy of this drawing once the shading is completed. The shading is expected to take a while to get done.

Update: Before I proceed on shading this drawing, I added orange and yellowish tips to the bottom of Mechapuff R2's bangs as well as the bottom part of her hair.

While I take this weekend to shade this drawing, you are welcome to comment.

This is the final version of the Zelda drawing that I did for LuisaRafidi over at dA. I'm really glad that I got this drawing done and overwith.

Now, I need to do a Windows 7 stamp and do my upcoming Mechapuff R2 character. I have less than two weeks of free time away from dA so, I need to get on with the Mechapuff R2 drawing after I do the Windows 7 stamp.

The details on Mechapuff R2 will be unveiled in the written description.

I will be back the following Monday night as I'm going to be very busy on the Mechapuff R2 drawing. Take care!

Thank you so much! I worked so hard on drawing the hair and with the help of reference images, I'm trying hard to get much better on drawing it.

I temporarly have set the monitor resolution to 800 x 600, because I will be off to draw Mechapuff R2 after the AL Wildcard Tiebreaker game is over.

The Tigers and Twins are still tied at 5 going into the bottom of the 12th and there is no tomorrow. One of the teams are going home for the Winter after the game ends.
